pH is a measure of hydrogen ion concentration or in layman terms, a measure of the acidity or alkalinity of a solution. BANO embodies a pH value of 12.5 which is extremely high in alkalinity. BANO is an odourless and colourless water-based sanitizer that is 100% biodegradable, non-caustic, non-hazardous, non-corrosive, non-flammable and non-explosive. Since it has zero COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) and BOD (Biochemical Oxygen Demand), it does not cause underground and water pollution which simplifies effluent treatment process and greatly reduces environmental measurement cost.

BANO is non-toxic and contains no alcohol which is completely safe for babies or pets to even lick the floor, carpet, sofa, etc. after cleaning as it contains no synthetic chemical or surfactant substances.

Its surfactant cleaning properties suspends contaminants like oil, fats and protein in the aqueous phase which reduces the cleaning time required by 50% because it is easier to rinse after. This feature is similar to the soap effect.
